Our products are used by people who have a reason to be careful — on the walk home, the night shift, the lone visit. This role exists because somebody has to be accountable for how those people are treated, and it should not be the same person who is building the thing.

Small before wide. Every product goes to a handful of people first, and we listen properly, before anyone else is invited. Nobody here ships to a crowd to find out whether it works.
The work is close to real people. Every product started from something someone close to us actually went through. That makes it meaningful and it also makes it heavy — we would rather say so now than have you discover it in month two.
We are not trying to make people braver. We are trying to make help arrive sooner.
How we hire
A conversation, then a piece of real work we pay for, then a decision. No unpaid exercises and no panel of six.
We read every application ourselves. If we are slow it is because there are very few of us, not because you are being screened by something.
